Police week "2006"

Although " National Police Week" is a few months away, I am planning early to make next year a special one. I was severly disappointed in the way it was handled last year, and want to change it. I am hoping to get some ideas from any officers on what you would like to see, what would mean the most to you, maybe something your community did for you last year that meant alot. Any suggestions would be great.

I'd like to see in improvement on the Law Ride for one, seemed to me there was a much larger percentage of riders in 2001 than there were this year. Disappointing really (unless I missed something?), considering my fiancee loves Harleys and there was a great turn out on 2001.

Pipe Band March to the Memorial was fantastic, just a pity about the rain this go around - not that it detracted from the performance at all.
