Right now our local media and the public are all worked up about a teacher being arrested, and shockingly enough, handcuffed in front of his class for possessing child porn.

I'm sorry, did the public forget that WE decide based off of training and experience how and when to make an arrest or in your case, felony stop?

In our case, they're all upset because what if he's innocent. His reputation will have been tarnished due to the arrest in his class room!!!!

I would hazard a guess, seeing how it's not my investigation, that a search warrant was probably executed that morning, the evidence was seized, and he was taken into custody.

    Does not surprise me...

Pretty typical response from the public that does not understand anything about our job and the precautions that we take for officer safety. Let your Brass do the explaining and keep doing your job like ya are... dont sweat it...

    Turds parents:
"What you pointed your guns at poor little Johnny sob sob He was just having fun he wasn't going to hurt anyone with the ax. sob sob You could have shot him sob sob Oh my poor little Johnny he now is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder"

Bulls%^t, hey mom next time tell your poor innocent child, that "when the cop's tell you to put your hands up, go ahead and put the ax above your head and run towards them."

This is absured punk kids got what they deserved and officers did the right thing, but I'm sure mommy and daddy will sue the dept. and the dept will aplogize for the actions taken. Here's your check ma am everything will be alright.

    started a topic interesting

    interesting

Well we had our local homecoming for the football team this past week. Tradition here is for kids to buy old crappy vans and paint them our local school's colors and drive around and egg and paintball each other and naturally there is collateral damage. Well some little sweethearts decided to take along an ax and sledgehammer. Well the local pd got a call that some kids were chasing after another vehicle with an ax and sledgehammer. So the pd went and got them stopped and performed a felony stop. Well the kids and their parents are saying the pd used "too much force." I find people amazing, maybe their tune would change if they were the ones getting chased with an ax. Aparently the kiddies are also paintballing pedestrians, makes me wish I could do something about these turds
