Racial profiling

you've heard it, you've seen it, you've probably already done it. is it now more than ever more prudent to use racial profiling especially at transportation centers and in certain places of employment. should racial profiling be used when concidering work/student visas for foreign nationals.

I don't have time for my answer condemming any type of race based proactivity, so I'll just say I'll be back and I'm moving this to "Civil Rights".

In my opinion I don't think racial profiling is the correct term. Profiling is more apt to be the correct term in this case. Profiling can be a very useful tool for crime prevention as well as criminal apprehension.

I'm sure there have been some cases of people being stopped just because of what they are, but I don't think it's common place.
