I have no background info on this, I just found the video and wanted to share

This video is from my town. It happened several years ago. Officers had a search warrant on this house. It was a man, woman and several kids. The badguy had cameras set up on the front porch . His defense was that he did not know they were cops, thought it was people there to rob him. One officer was shot, but his vest caught the bullet. The badguy said he was just protecting his family. I do not remember a lot of the details, but this thing went pretty high in the judicial system.
His defense shyster said the cops did not give enough time for the badguy to answer the door. They knocked, and then busted the door in. The shyster said if the cops would have knocked,announced them selves, then wait a certain length of time ( do not remember how long), the bad guy would have come to the door, and no shots would have been fired.
After a time the guy was either found guilty of some charges, or pleaded out.
He was in fact a big time drug dealer.

I am gonna change it back. Been a little too busy. I did not realize what was on GW's monitor until someone told me on another thread. I like GW, but I will find another avatar with him on it. I am sure that he really did not have that site on his monitor...
