    ..... Do
    >>>> you think the oil companies were making fat cash when the price of gas
    >>>> was $1.50 per gallon? You bet. From my business experience, price
    >>>> isn't determined by what the product costs to produce, it is determined
    >>>> by what the market will bear..... and currently our market is bearing
    >>>> $2.50+ per gallon. With no action the cost will only go up. For
    >>>> those of you who were with me in Kuwait, have you seen more Mercedes,

    >>>>
    >>>> I hear we are going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by the end of
    >>>> summer. Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some

    >>>>
    >>>> This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day"

    >>>> just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt"
    >>>> ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to

    >>>> By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $1.50 is super

    >>>> hurting ourselves. How?
    >>>>
    >>>> Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we

    >>>> For the rest of this year, DON"T purchase ANY gasoline from the two

    >>>> they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.
    >>>> But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and
    >>>> Mobil gas buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now, don't whimp (sic)
    >>>> out on me at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it
    >>>> is to reach millions of people!! I am sending this note to about
    >>>> thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 =

    >>>>
    >>>> and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ..
    >>>>
    >>>> and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of

    >>>> three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30
    >>>> million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level
    >>>> further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! Again,
    >>>> all you have to do is send this to 10 people and DON"T purchase ANY
    >>>> gasoline from EXXON and MOBIL. That's all. (If you don't understand
    >>>> how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send this to 10
    >>>> people.... well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. But
    >>>> I am... so trust me on this one.)
    >>>>
    >>>> How long would all that take? If each of us sends this email out to

    >>>> didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you! Acting

    >>>> pass this message on.
    >>>>
    >>>> PLEASE HOLD OUT UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $1.30 RANGE AND
    >>>> KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK

I received this email and it looked like a good idea. Let me know what you guys think. I for sure have no problem doing it. Anybody think this is a bad idea.

I can back him on the Kuwait thing... on our convoy out of Iraq into Kuwait, you knew when you had crossed... not because there was a sign or a guard tower, cause there wasn't. But you went from those white and orange golf carts they call taxis and the lil Nissan p/us to Escalades, Mercedes and the police even driving souped up Holden cop cars. That country (and more so Saudi Arabia) have the biggest scam going and no one has the balls to call them on it!

for me , in canada, i ONLY buy from petrocanada and noone else....

I lived in Saudi Arabia. We had at least three princes surrounding our compound with their palaces. One prince even built a palace into our compound wall, but stopped about halfway into building it. We used to skateboard inside the house, and in the empty pool.
And gas was/is wicked cheap over there. About 60 halalas a liter (I have a picture of a gas pump)
So basically, about .60 cents a gallon.

I remember the days when $0.64/L was disgustingly high. I'd gladly pay $0.64/L now.

What do you pay per liter now?

How can my message be too short? I answered the question that was posed upon me. Now I'm forced to add extra mumbo jumbo to my post.
