I have been reading articles about Scott Peterson and all the mail he is getting from women who admire him and feel sorry for him. What is the truth in that? I know several serial killers have been married while incarcerated ( Bundy , Ramirez....I can't believe that). I mean Bundy even has a daughter..can you imagine that? Being the daughter of a man who brutalized,only Bundy knows, how many women? Must be a big therapy bill there, huh? So what is this phenomenon called? Does it have a name? Why are some women just attracted to bad boys....not just petty criminals, but beasts who mutilate their victims and engage in unspeakable sexual acts.....what is the deal with that? I know Charles Manson has a website and a fan club...but do women ohh-and ahh over him...and if so why? I would like the opinion of L.E.'s...I have the sociological idea about why that happens (self-esteem issues, perhaps), but if you have any info I may find interesting, please pass it along.
As far as Peterson is concerned, I did read that women feel sorry for him because they feel he is being victimized, but even if there is proof that he did it and he rots in prison...he will still have a fan club. Even if he is innocent, it is merely in poor taste....I mean Laci has not even been dead a year..give the guy time to mourn, huh?

These killers are sociopathic predators who know how to manipulate people and feed off the weak. The women are pathetic and desperately seeking romantic attention of any sort. Its a perfect match.

That makes perfect sense..if one even tries to make sense of the whole thing. I have always been curious as to what type of home life these women grew up in. Looking back, I always dated boys/men who my parents greatly approved of...you know the kind of guys I would not be ashamed to bring home to meet the folks; I never dated criminals, never went through a phase of dating losers. i did date a few duds who bordered on psychotic, but they had a dysfunctional home life as children. When my dad had a stroke when I was a teenager, I remember that I started dating a lot and acting up a bit.....even had my first serious boy friend and even started thinking of marriage at such a young age. I think I was trying to replace what I lost when dad got ill. I strayed a bit, but my brothers set me back on track....as my dad recovered, I stopped being such a flake and ended up marrying a good man without any criminal tendencies...he is actually like my dad in many of his value thought (sounds like a 1884 term...just made it up). Does anyone know of any books that involve research of these type of women; I am really curious about backgrounds on them.....or just the whole killer-roadie type loser.
