  • Which Would You Rather Gamble With: Your Heart Or Your Money?

    And Why?

Any successful gambling stories, of either kind?

I prefer to gamble with nothing to lose. I do gamble at times with a little money but I am not into gambling a lot. IF I had to gamble with one of these I would pick my money because I feel that life is a precious thing that should not be wasted. Besides you might gamble your life away but who are you really hurting? Not yourself, you would be hurting all those who care for you and look up to you. I feel that I can not be that selfish to anyone. I feel that I am here to help people not hurt them.

I don't gamble...I don't buy lottery tickets, don't participate in sports pools, never been in a casino, in fact I don't even send in the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes form!!.

I was never much of a gambler, and unless I know I'm getting something in return (such as shopping!), I try to avoid it.

The last time I gambled was when I was in Las Vegas. My grandmother lived there, and I took her to Excalibur when I went for a visit. She all but had a heart attack when I played quarter and dollar slots. She gave me a roll of nickles and told me to win big.

As for the heart, there is someone very special in my life, and love is always something I'd much rather take my chances with.

I like to play black jack at the casino once in a while. I don't go all that often but would never gamble with my heart again.

What money? I occasionally risk a few nickels or quarters on the slot machines because that is the only type of gambling I know how to do. I like to think I'm too intelligent to risk anything higher. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", as the old saying goes.

Some people are just worth the gamble. I look at it this way: If I didn't take this chance, I'd be missing out on the most wonderful man in the world.

I would gamble with my heart making sure it did not rule my head.

Black Jack, Poker, Roulette, Slots. Good Ol' AC (Atlantic City) has been good to me. Was up nearly 3 large last time I went.

As for my heart....I figure getting involved with anyone is always a gamble. People change, feelings change, you jkust need to take the gamble and hope you dont get *** shafted.

For me, gambling with my money is always a choice. I enjoy it, in moderation...but I can take it or leave it.

To the contrary, gambling with my heart is not always a choice. Love seems to hit me like a ton of bricks.

I don't gamble at all. I am such a tightwad. BUT if i was made to chose it would have to be money. Because i can easily recoup my losses with money but not my heart. Once its broke thats forever. And i never gamble with that much to lose.
