In a gun control debate, you asked that
we not use certain names. Unfortunately,
I got real caught up in the debate with
someone opposing me, and I used one of
the names you requested we not use.

I just want to apologize to you blondie
and niteshift for my actions. I stand
firmly behind my posts to the opposition,
but I apologize to you two for not following
your requests.

Gun control is a very volatile issue here, and I can certainly understand that there are many emotional aspects to the discussion.

This is why I believe it is important not to use language that will ultimately start a flame war, and distract from the core issue.

I hope our next thread on this subject can be a more peaceful one.
