Same here. I got the call and got good news, but not the news I wanted. Got hired by the SO, but in a corrections capacity to start off with.

thats the bad thing about most SO that ive seen, they usually pay alot less $, and they make you start in the jail, 1 or 2 yrs before you can hit the street, if there is an opening.
