  • Robber Shot By Police "Was Turning His Life Around"

A Columbus Ohio woman claims that the Columbus Police didn't have to shoot a bank robbery suspect after he exited a bank after robbing it. She further claimed he had turned his life around after getting out of prision after serving time for you guessed it ROBBERY.

She further claimed he was the love of her life and she met him while she was tending bar in a local dive.

Why the hell does the media print this crap ???????

Check out story on Columbus Dispatch website today's addition

Bodie, why would I want to read liberal drivel from OH when I have the LA Times making my blood pressure high already!!
"Respect for religion must be reestablished. Public debt should be reduced. The arrogance of public officials must be curtailed. Assistance to foreign lands must be stopped or we shall bankrupt ourselves. The people should be forced to work and not depend on government for subsistence." - Cicero, 60 B.C.

Newark Newark Newark :::: Please Read Dispatch

You live in Newark and don't watch the Columbus TV news or read the Dispatch ? Go get a copy this morning or stop by the library or log on to the Columbus Dispatch website...... I could understand your question but you are basically in Newark a suburb of the capital city.

He went to two other bansk while being followed by SWAT and at the third he decided it was okay to rob. They had been tipped off that he was robbing banks and was going to do one that day.

He implied to the teller that he had a gun as he had done in prior robberies and when confronted outside the bank failed to follow officer orders to show hands or whatever ahnd was shot. Witnesses say they only heard one shot fired so all shots fired by police were fast.

Dye pack may have exploded startling robber and officers is one liberal theory
But it is likely dye pack had nothing to do with robber getting his ticket punched and may have even been set off whe it was hit by bulllet.

Yeah the media makes me want to puke too and why anytime a bad guy is shot by officers he is a "victim" or "was killed by police"

One bright spot to this is that one of the dirtbags friends thinks it may have been a suicide by cop because the guy had stated he was not going back to prison.

          Bodie

I am always amazed how many of the poor misunderstood creatures we have to fool with are just on the edge of getting their life straightened out.

It makes "good story", increases the drama, drives up readership, in other words they sell more papers, can charge more for advertising, more profit.

It's all about the money brother, its all about the money. They do not have a calling any more. It is not about the truth.

As much as it is about money and selling product, I wish we as an "industry" were better at setting the record straight and correcting the language used in the stories.

We have one in Vancouver last week about a young guy that's families suing Port Moody police after "gunned" him down. They could have reported the truth that the police was forced to act in self defence and stop the threat, etc.. I mean, hell the guy was only their because the guy was attempting to kill two women with a fricken machette. Then the badguy made the fatal move of going after the police officer.

Well, he was turning his life around, and hopefully the cop's bullet spun his body around. So one might argue that the cop was just trying to help make the guys mind and body one. And that's the thanks the cops get? Geez. Ingrates...

Don't worry, newspaper readership is down all over the country and they won't be around much longer.

                      Turning his life around?

Yea it sounds like he was really running the straight and narrow road. What a ridiculous statement.
