This side of the 49th we call it "Remembrance Day", and it is a civic holiday. None of us were scheduled for duty on Sunday, but 2 of us were in Review Order for the parade - the other guy stayed in Weyburn and I headed to a little village just North of North Dakota. Every year there are less and less of the old boys with their chest of medals. A little dress-uniform voluntary time is a pretty small price to pay to celebrate freedom!
