Good to see a few ELO fans on the forum, they were the first group I ever saw, and still the best sound I have ever heard.
      Also seen;
      Queen
      Genisis
      Phil Collins
      Guns and Roses
      Elton John
      Skid row
      INXS
      Paul Young
      Status Quo
      Inner circle
      Moody Blues
      UB40
Rose Royce, Odyssey, Edwin Star, Village people! Laytoya Jackson, Soul to Soul, PM Dawn. This last part of the list I saw when managing nightclubs before becoming a cop. I've also seen alot of one hit wonders that no doubt have never been heard of in the US

156: Yeah she was okay, just a little shaken up & seriously disappointed over missing "her band".

Echo to Peeler, I'm a big ELO fan, just never got to see them in concert. I caught them on TV a couple of times, but that was back in the days of Wolfman Jack's "Midnight Special", not like today, when music videos are running on a half dozen stations. I was just telling my kids about them the other night. They found it hard to believe that a rock band had violins and a cello in the mix.

See if you know any of these names. These are people our band has played with at conferences, fairs, & local concerts who are nationally recognized (at least in some circles) recording artists.

              Claude Gray
              Diane Jordan
              Johnny Tillotson
              Brian Hyland
              Bobby Vee
              Brian Black
              Roy Head
              Johnnie Lee
and a little girl who sang one song & then was whisked away to catch a flight to Nashville to record her very first record, Leann Rhimes.

Now, if you can tell me a song each one of these recorded (with the exception of Leann Rhimes), I'll either consider you a true music connoisseur or a golden oldie.

I remember Bobby Vee, but can't remember any of his songs.

Johnny Tillotson - Poetry In Motion

Johnny Lee - Lookin' for Love
& was married to Charlene Tilton of "Dallas" fame for a short period.

Mike seen Crystal Gayle when she was young and about a month ago at a casino in Biloxi, Ms. Okay now I also seen Nine Inch Nails with my daughter. White Snake
(these were back in high school, when I had my mullet. Hey! It seemed like a good Idea at the time.)

                          College:
                          The Bo Deans
                          Pearl Jam
                          Sound Garden
                          Garbage
                          Soul Asylum
Brooks and Dunn (did security otherwise, no chance)
                          White Zombie

                          Since:
                          Foo Fighters
                          Red Hot Chili Peppers
                          Hole (they sucked)
                          Cheap Trick (they were AWSOME!)
                          Dave Matthews

Actually the Dave Matthews thing happened in a little club in Nashville (don't remember the name). We were there and he just showed up unannounced and played a couple of acoustic sets. Quite cool.
