  • Gary Condit Primary

Remember Gary Condit? They just announced on CBS that he lost his bid for the nomination for another term in Congress. His opponent got 56% to his 37%.

When asked what his plans were, he said he was just going to get on with his life. I wonder what that means.

Gary Condidit? He's probably calling his lawyer - maybe they'll file charges now.

Yeah, I came over with the intent of posting something also, in Politics.

It appears good ole Conservatives are not being the "silent" majority any more. They also (at least according to this early report) beat Riordan with a more conservative (and lesser known) person.

Not bad for a State that's usually the springboard for anything liberal.

Not to offend our CA boardmembers-just saying it's even more amazing since it IS CA.
People have more fun than anybody.

And that's what has me (as a registered Republican) concerned. IMHO if anybody had a chance to beat Gray Davis in November, it was Riordan. Now I just have this sinking feeling we'll have to put up with Davis for another 4 years.

        I just hope I'm wrong

I really believe whomever they put up there against him would have one the election. Maybe if he still has one his next step will to spend time with his wife and family.

As I have lived in Condit country for almost 11yrs.. I have to say that I am sorry Gary was not re-elected.
He has done a great deal for our community.

Its amazing to me that although we live in a society that fights for the individuals right to be innocent until proven guilty.
Gary Condit has been found guilty until proven innocent????????

I think the Police in Washington should be examining the cases of the other females missing in the same area, which might just suggest that there is a serial killer at work. (YA THINK).
