        Easy. notice how 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81 all have the same symbol, every time.

Any 2-digit number added together, then subtracted will equal a number that is divisible by 9. Example: 15 -- 1+5=6 -- 15-6= 9

        It's a good trick [Wink]

Robo is right. I figured it out when I just kept clicking the ball and noticed it always came up with the symbol on 54. It works on "nines". Like Robo said, any two digit subracted by it's sum will always come out something 9 can be divided into. And any number 9 goes into will have the same symbol.
This freaked my son out until I showed him how it was done.

I've seen this on a few other boards and I like it when people say "I did it five times and it was only right twice."

umm... It's mathematically impossible for it to be wrong.

              !

Every time you click the crystal ball the numbers corrisponding to the symbols changes!
That's why it's always different symbols!
