  • Do any of you listen to talk radio?

If any of you do, what talk show hosts do
you listen to and which ones are your favorites?

I like Michael Savage, a great national
talk show host. Barbara Simpson, a local
out here in California, but she does
sometimes replace Art Bell on Coast to
Coast, which is about the only time I listen
to that show. I also like Brian Wilson,
David Gold and fill in Spencer Hughes.

I don't like Rush Limbaugh, he is nothing
more than a mouth piece of the Republican
party and a Bush cheerleader. He is just
as bad as the radical left ABC, NBC, CBS
and CNN are for being mouthpieces of the
    Democrat party.

I listen to it quite a bit.

    I don't think Howard Stern counts .........

I listen to Gordon Liddy, a local (primarily conservative) talk show and Rush, from time to time.

Is Art Bell still on? I used to love listening to him while working nights....... the stations around here quit carrying him and I thought he retired.

I listen to Russ Martin on during the afternoons in Dallas. He's kind of crude sometimes. There's times I have to turn the channel because he's too offensive for me, but there are times he just kills me. You never know whats going to come out his mouth next. Plus, he actually likes the police.

Does sports radio count? I listen to 610 WIP. I love hearing the callers from the area. We here in Philly are a very passionate sports city and the callers are a riot. It's a "don't hold back, tell us what you really feel" atmosphere. Probably the only talk radio I listen to.

I listened to Tom Kamb on KLIF in Dallas. He is suddenly gone though. He was really on the Mayor and Police Chief.

Somehow I don' think he qualifies as "talk radio". But you're right, he kills me. When my wife and I came back from Wyoming we spent a short time in Plano and I listened to him every day. He kicks ***!!!

Is Marty the Cop still a regular??

Y'all should hear this guy. People would call and complain about the po-lees and Marty would tell them how it really is!

Dr Laura because she tells it like it is, although they have quieted her down too much. The Phil Hendrie show is my favorite! Is he a talk radio show? When I lived in the bay area (ca) I liked listening to Bill Watenburg on the weekends, KGO radio.

Hey Ken, Russ Martin is on the radio station that says that they are " the talk that rocks."

I haven't heard Marty the Cop in a while.

Russ is doing a lot more listener phone in lately. The porn star interviews are totally funny.

He's got his own web page now too.

Didnt Kamb get kicked off the air Mike?

I listen to Rush or Dr. Laura when I am in the car during the day. I did get a kick out of G.Gordon Liddy but we can't get him anymore. I have heard Phil Henry and he is a hoot, but you have to wonder why listen to a guy talking to himself. I do like Michael Savage some but he sometimes goes off on a tangent without me.

The story is that he resigned due to family problems in California. I liked him. HE called gays disparaging names on the air, (like he did everyone who he thought was a skank, or deserved it) and then had the balls to admit he was gay on the air. I miss his opinion.

Bill Wattenburg on KGO 810 is great. The guy is a nuclear physicist, logger, truck driver, knows something about everything.

I can take Michael Savage in small doses. He is an angry, bitter man who goes over the edge sometimes. I do agree with a lot of what he says.

Art Bell is just a loon. Not sure if he is just yanking people's chains or if he really is paranoid schizo target of alien abductions and secret government conspiracies. I probably just made his list.
