  • Needed: Reserve PO training manuals, outlines, guidelines

    Greetings!

I've been assigned the task of putting together a reserve training academy. I'm currently researching outlines and time lines for such. If anyone has something that can be emailed or snail-mailed, please let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Check out this thread, and this thread might have some information also.

Neither one of those really helps. We've got an already established reserve program with more than 100 people in three divisions. What we're looking to do is to standardize all of the training. I teach at two academies, and I'm trying to gather as much academy-related materials to draw from. We're looking at doing about 250 hours over 16 weeks. But I'm just trying to make sure that we're covering everything and also looking for any ideas from others.

      Thanks!

I don't know how much detail this provides, but it links to the Reserve Academy info for Oklahoma:

Ok, I misunderstood your original question. What I get for reading it while half-asleep.

Try Basic Peace Officer course, and Intermediate Reserve Course and Advanced Reserve Officer Course.
