What is a good book......?

What is a good book that describes policing? I'm not looking for stories, but rather something that looks at policing in general and discusses things like ethics, community policing and general police theory.

I don't know of any but have you tried doing a search on Barnes & Noble ? A lot of their items have reviews, overviews and sometimes even excerpts from the book.

The Police, but I was curious if there is a well known/well accepted book among the LEO community.
