  • I'm afraid the time has come.........

I regret to inform you all that I am leaving officer.com. This was a hard decision, one that required great delibiration. This was not an easy decision for me to make, but alas, I feel like I have done all that I can to convert you all to the way of the Glock.

To the friends I have made while I was here, I will miss you all, but you can rest assured that a small part of me will always remain with you and this forum.

Shooter1201, it is you that I will miss the most. You made it so easy, but yet you were always the good sport!

Good. But it's to bad trolls come out of their caves from time to time. Try not too.

And while you're in there, I keep on carrying my Kimber Custom Classic, and shake my head, as my friends work for a dept that forces them to carry the Fantastic Plastic.

      Now, go away.

Y'know what? Glockafool's post here sure seemed to have some elements in common with Blacque Jacques Shellaque. Methinks someone has too much time on his hands...

I am a fan of Glock and carry a Glock, however, I will not stand on my soap box and preach to all of you or "convert" you to Glock. I feel that it is the American Way or better yet a democratic way that allows us to pick and choose what best suits us. I think Shooter or my firearms instructor (not sure which one ) said that you should shoot what you are comfortable with. Anyway, for one to sell me on or tell me what is the best firearm to shoot or carry, is in my opinion a communist ( not that there is anything wrong with that either! ) but this is America and I have the right to pick and choose whatever the Heck I want. So, I guess Glockaphile, you have your point of view and I have mine but don't try to shove yours down my throught. I hate to see you go, but, there's the door don't let it hit you where the good lord split you!

Dang, just when I was gonna try and enroll in one of his BEA schools, he bails on me.

Glockaholio, why don't you just be like a shepherd and get the flock outta here?

                Buh-bye!

Can I give you my Glock to take with you? Darn Department has made me carry this piece of junk for the past 9 years. Oh wait, I have a new one. I forgot. This past year they were going to have to change out the batteries (batteries in a gun?) that operate the night sights but it was cheaper to get new guns? I still shake my head in wonder thinking back to the first ones & the three adjustments that were necessary to get them working right. Hate to see you go though. Participation by all is what keeps the forum going. Take care & keep a reliable back up gun handy.

                      Glockaphile, check your PM's.
My dad was (I say "was" cuz he's dead now from eating too much red meat) an all around Glock worshiper. So, listening to Glockaphile's posts, sound a lot like listening to my dad. I'm one of the few who actually enjoy Glock's posts. Ahh, the memories...
Sorry to see you go, Glockaphile.

I enjoyed reading his posts and am not afraid to admit it- they were pretty entertaining. You cant't take him seriously, he is to law enforcement what Burger King is to fine dining. I laughed reading some of his 'whoppers'.

I hope he continues to post, he livens things up around here.

I realize he was not in LE, hence the Burger King vs. fine dining reference.

I just laugh reading his posts, he cracks me up especially when he tries to lecture a LEO. Like the old saying goes: Every village has a Glockpile.
