Ok, I'm curious about something again. (Curiousity killed the cat, right? )

I would like to know how many of you tried alcohol before you were 21, and how many of you tried an illegal drug as a teen?

Now, I will admitt, I drank a few long swallows of a Kahlua with my friends once (we were actually in the apt. of one of my gal pals whose father was a Sgt. in the Phoenix PD !).

I've been strong against drugs, though. And no alcohol, either since then...lol. (I just would like to know...I'm going through another asking questions stage.)

I didn't drink until the summer before my 21st birthday, and I waited until I was 22 before I got high for the first time. Yeah, I'm an exciting guy ... NOT!

Yeah, I drank way before my 21st birthday. I was eighteen.

Of course the drinking age back the was 18 also.

The drinking age was 18 back when i was a teen. i started drinking at around 15 (and my b/f was a 22 yr-old cop )

I did some of the wicked weed...for quite a few years i never exhaled

never did any other illegal drug, nor would i ever now. i hardly drink now...socially i might have a couple beers now and then.

The first time I drank, I was about 18. I hardly ever drink though. I have never done any kind of illegal drug and I have never had an interest. I have heard too many horror stories.

Hello Mike, what's all that stuff under your name? CMDR TX Mechanic and the rest? I don't know what it stands for and I heard many ppl allege that you have "a trailer park" which sounds cool .... you should be able to run the address in the 'restricted area' so that we can all descend on you

Mike if this "trailer park" thing is true, a JPG of the place would be cool! I have holidayed at trailer parks a few times with my kids (South England and Scotland mainly) and love that kind of holiday

as for drinking alcohol before age 21 - Leo-wannabe your username makes me cringe and the under 21 question?
do US youth "really" stay off alcohol all the way to 21? amazing
in the UK, the law is you must not BUY anybody alcohol, unless you're 18 or over
there is nothing to stop kids drinking at home, or out in the back garden (from a reasonable age .... Dad decides ! )

I started drinking beer and smoking weed when I was in 6th. grade. I also drank a little hard liquor at the time, but the funny thing is, I never liked any of it, the weed or the alcohol.

What's even funnier, is that I STOPPED smoking weed when I was a Junior in High school, and the last drink I had (champaigne) was when I was 18, the night I graduated from High school.

Not only have I not smoked weed since I was a Junior in High school, but I also haven't had ANY form of alcohol at all since I was 18, so I stopped doing that stuff at the time that most folks start it. I will be 38 this year, so that was 20 years ago.......

My ONE and ONLY time to ever be drunk(Miller 'Ponies') was May 1979. I go SOOOOOOOOOOO sick! God, I HATE beer! IF I'm gonna drink(been about 2 years, now), it MUST be either a Long Island Iced Tea, Bicardi and Coke or a Whisky Sour. NO exceptions!

As for drugs...I was more afraid of my DAD than I was the cops, so I never fell in with that crowd. Too bad my sis didn't have the same 'sense'.....

Chiefy, I don't have a jpg of the actual park, but it's in a very good location. As a matter of fact, Retired's old department is right across the street.

Got all my drinking over with before I turned 21. I almost died once drinking a bottle of peppermint shnapps and a bottle of barcardi rum. All in about 2 hours. Luckily I puked it up!

I hate hard alcohol and might have a few wine coolers now and then, but that's it.

Weed? Tried it once and burnt my lip. Didn't turn me on.
