  • I Need BEA advice from Glockamolie, please...

    Bud,

I'm retired, and have time to spare, so I thought I'd go into BEA and make some quick cash. I've got some time in law enforcement, but really want your advice on how I should utilize my weapon.

I carry in an ankle holster, my Carl Breeder .500 magnum revolver (with the short barrel of course), and my prime gun in a shoulder holster (the 9mm Taurus auto).

Can a BEA legally carry more than one sidearm?

don't you know, all the best BEAs carry glocks. you should reconsider your taurus.

Not carrying a Glock is really a tactical step; If the Badman sees a civilian in the door with a Glock, he is going to realize a BEA is on the job. So, the Badman gains some advantage there.

OTOH, if a civilian is spotted with a Taurus 9mm auto, the Badman will always ignore him, and continue drinking his beer. Thereby relaxing his guard and becomimg an easy bounty for the intelligent and crafty BEA.

I've actually been taught this little known technique.

No, I am retired, but Jim says he is retired, and both of can't be retired, unless both of us are actually retired.

No, he said RE-tired, which means he was tired before and he's tired again. I think he's talking about sleep deprivation, a common problem among LEOs. My finely-honed chaplain sense and specialized education helped me to recognize this issue by reading between the lines.

Jim, I'm right here if you need to talk to a chaplain.

It's really sad and weird that two such liberals have the same illness. Maybe their is a connection between them, Gaston, and known weapons rights violations on Indian reservations and the left coast?

Just to add to the confusion, I retired 9 years ago today.

On its surface, it appears quite comfusing, but I assure you I'm retired, as well as Retired [Eek!]

But considering what the Chaplaim has observed; and the fact that .500 magnum revolver weighs in at 5 lbs on my ankle, well yes, I'd be retired like Retired. In a matter of speaking.

                    BTW, where's my bud Glockamolie?

That's because you and the others who are not transmission repair mechs can benefit from the wisdom of Retired. He, having been there and done that, though tired and worn, possesses infinat knowledge to save various butts.

                      That's why.

When you are retired, like Retired, you can see skin. Buicks do not enter into the equation, as they are similar to Fords, and the only ford I ever had, was retired.

Jim lives in the hood. I, on the other hand, know what's under the hood.

If you retired, and Jim is also retired, and I'm retired, then who is actually retired as far as being retired? I think that this is a deliberate attempt by Mike to cause confusion and divert attention away from his trailer park.

I do not have a trailer park you old coot. This is the last response you will ever get from me, and I'm not lying this time! Besides if I had a trailer park, it would probably be infested by retired people.

Besides, we all know that Jim just want's to fondle his Glock!
