Well, the PTC and it's over-bearing morality squeeze play got dealt a blow yesterday.
The WWE sued the PTC for it's false statements and the suit was settled. Among other things, the PTC director has posted an apology that has to remain on their website for 6 months. The rest of the settlement will be announced Monday.
The PTC had blamed the WWE for the death of a Miami girl when her brother killed her and tried the "wrestling defense". Some of the PTC's dishonesty included lies that they'd convinced sponsors to stop advertising with the WWE, despite the fact that those sponsor never had advertised with them, nor had they considered it.
You can read the apology here: http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1156564
BTW, the self-appointed moral watchdogs have ignored my repeated requests over the past 2 years to tell me how many members they actually have or how their organization determines which programs are offensive, besides the obvious method of their director saying so and everyone agreeing.
