Hey, nothing banned up here. But none of our fireworks are going to actually be on the fourth anyway. And I don't have a gas grill. And it's so muggy right now I hardly have the energy to get out of my chair. Summer in Maine fell in the middle of the week this year.

Don: Come on down to West Texas. We've had enough rain that we will have the fireworks, and I'm supposed to be grilling this evening (even with the light threat of rain).

I agree Don, They cancelled all but 2 fireworks shows because of lack of enough FF to maintain the shows. Its going to be to crowded at the Fab Phx 4th this year. Guess my son will think i was to cheap to splurge on fireworks for his birthday this year.

Trade ya, Don. We're on day number 16 I think of rain. I have a lake in my front yard and the rain forest in my back. I'd love to cook out tomorrow but I can't count on the weather holding out. Then there's the danged ol' skeeters that breed in the standing water!

We went the last three years under a drought and had the fireworks either cancelled or threatened. This year it's the opposite.

Now that I'm off that rant, happy 4th of July, everyone. Be safe, fly the flag proudly and raise a cold one for those who died for our freedom.
