Philip K. Dick novels in the hands of a good director yields magnificent results, no?

Minority Report is the greatest Sci-Fi move sense Blade Runner. which was also adapted from a Philip K. Dick novel.

Well I think there is a lot of movies out there nowadays that I am just waiting to come on HBO or Showtime because I can not see myself paying over $8 to see it.

8 bucks is alot, but there's something fun about a huge screen, and premium sound...

Vanilla Sky... well, I was thinking about renting it... was.

LOL the big screen and sound is sooon replaced with a nice large screen tv (27 inch or bigger) and a nice home theatre (can ger in most stores) thus when you watch a nice movie through your localized cable network (or sat) you can enjoy the nice rich sound that you hear at a theatre without having to pay the highway robbery prices and not worring about what that kid in front of you is gonna do with all that popcorn and gum LOL

Oh, i've got a 36" television, and 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, all that j***.

There's just somethin' fun about the movies! and the screen is a tad larger than 36 inches...

Don't bother wasting your money. The story line was to hard to keep up with and i was quite frankly stunned to see a crappy Tom Cruise movie. Although i didn't really care for Eyes wide shut either.

BTW, Has anyone seen I am Sam?

Klar is so very correct... and the food is alot better, and cheaper too at home. Though I remember sneaking an entire large pizza into the movies with my friends once... quite a bit of work that was.

Vanilla Sky is based on a Spanish film of some sort, correct? I wonder if that's any better...

Vanilla Sky was no harder to follow then the plot to the first Mission: Impossible movie.

Vanilla Sky just sucked overall.. It wasn't even interesting to say the least. I almost fell asleep throughout it.

But Minority Report was awesome... Great special effects and Tom Cruise really acted very well in it. The part was just made for him it seemed.
