those sites should all be titled "fisher price - my first website"

the city i work for is revamping their entire website. they paid some guy $16,000 to do it. they absolutely hate it and now want to pay me my regular salary to make a multi-page one for them to include each city department. the guy they paid to do it knows nothing about the code, only the limitations of dreamweaver.

"...and any duties deemed necessary by the chief of police." yea, i got your duties right here. uh oh, i just forgot how to code in ASP and JavaScript. maybe some money might help me remember.

It has come to my attention that some individuals feel that I was poking fun at my department's web site. Nothing could be FURTHER from the truth.

shooter - you can host your domain for a very nominal fee. The more polished image your department will have due to it is well worth the money. If you need help, I'd be glad to offer my assistance. Just email me and let me know.

There is only one problem that I could find with the website. It's the
Where were you born?" link. I was born in Minnesota, however, my parents didn't get my SS# until we moved to MD. And, come to think of it, that was when I was about 5. I had lived in MN, VA, and FL before MD ...

Frank - you can and then the company hosting your site can yank it for violating their terms of service. Not too great an image for a police department eh?
