  • Randy Moss arrested...

    http://msn.espn.go.com/nfl/news/2002/0925/1436592.html

If true, this guy is just the biggest bozo on the face of the earth...

If I could find someone stupid enough to give me $75 million over 8 years, I'm gonna make sure my nose is clean so nobody could take that away from me. This guy, on the other hand, just seems to look for trouble. I think his total lack of respect and lack of concern for the traffic officer also speaks volumes about him as a person.

    Any other opinions?

I have seen people get sentenced up to 10 years for assaulting a Peace Officer.

After a few seconds, Hullerman said, the man in the car tapped the accelerator and knocked her down.

She fell flat on her face,'' Hullerman said, adding that the driver didn't get out of his car.

That DA needs her f*^&ing *** kicked, and kicked HARD!!!

Didn't intend to cause harm because he drove slow?
That's like saying soemone didn't intend to kill someone else with a gun because they were aiming for a leg.

I'm not familiar with MN law. Is threatening a police officer not a crime?

This stuff happen to him?!? Yeah, he's the victim here. How about the more appropriate "You hate to see him continuing to make bad choices that get him into trouble."

And another thing -- that decked-out Lexus better obey every traffic and vehicle equipment law on the books. I've got a feeling they'll be watching for him.

I once got 15 years for an Assault 2nd on a Peace Officer when an inmate kicked me off the 2nd tier of the jail (thank God I grabbed the pole and pulled myself back up or it would have been a looooog fall). After I got back up, he kicked me in the stomach again. I got a felony warrant because I was sworn in, but my fellow officers that got bit and hit could only get misdemeanors. I don't think there should be a difference. Anyway, I think it made a lasting impression on the inmate, he only got 5 years for the Burglary 2nd that he was in jail on.

I think where this scumbag will get out of this one is it said she was not a Police Officer. You know his attorney will plea this down, he'll never see the inside of a jail cell.

Oh, what do you think about the witness that said he didn't think Moss was trying to hurt her.. just scare her. Wonder how much money he got for saying that?

And how original was the "the marijuana didn't belong to him" thing. Ohhhh, yeah, I always have illegal things in my car that don't belong to me. He should be charged and if nothing else, found guilty by association. If he is stupid enough to let someone drive his car that would possess marijuana, then he should pay the price.

I think he deserves more than a slap on the wrist for what he did to this officer, and on top of that he seemed to think it was funny!
$50,000 fine to him is nothing, let his sorry *** sit in jail for a while watching the games on TV!

              Just my opinion.

Should have been a felony, you know you or I would have been charged with a felony.

I hate Randy Moss, and thats not just because I am a life long Packer fan. [Wink]

Not only should Randy Moss see the inside of a jail cell for a while, he should also be looking in from the outside of the stadium for a few months. If I was the police officer, I would go to the prosecuting attorney and ask him why he didn't file the felony charges. Then I would ask him to go stand on the street and let me hit him with a car. Not only should Moss be charged with the felony, he should also be charged for the marijuana. In WV if it is in your car when I pull you over, it is yours!!

The coach that lets him play on Sunday is doing nothing but telling the punk that it is OK to run over a police officer. Maybe he should put on a uniform for a day!!!!!!!

First off I just have to say.. Why in the hell does anyone think they can stop a moving car with their bare hands? Ahhhh .... You cant stop a moving vheicle with your body, there is just NO WAY. That was stupid.

Secondly, I have done traffic control and I know people are A-holes.

Third, WHO THE HELL does Moss think he is that he can just continue to go after being told to stop. Obviously he was wrong and I sure hope he gets a huge fine. A-HOLE.
Oh... Oh... I know you di-int!

The sad part is, I like Moss. I knew he was gonna be a wild card once he got into the NFL, and I actually figured since it took him this long, maybe the leopard can change his spots.

It's this kind of behavior that kept out of FSU. Not that they need any more controversy, and not like he was worse than kickers slipping co-ed's some roofies, but they didn't need him in a big school like that. Marshall did him good and he did Marshall good.

Now, back on topic. Last I saw, a car passes for a "potentially deadly weapon", which satisfies the elements of aggravated battery. I'm just wondering how much presure was put on the traffic control person to not say too much or cause too many waves.

I can't f'ing stand atheletes for this reason more than any other.

First, the SOB should have gotten a bullet in the brain. He deliberately rammed the officer with his car and put her life in immediate danger. It doesn't matter how slow he was going.

Second, who is that bimbo DA? I guess the Vikings got to her before she made it through the courthouse doors. Is she just one of the sheeple who thinks a neanderthal who catches footballs is better than everyone else, or just a little corrupt?

I hope the officer has retained a good attorney and goes after Moss, and the DA's office for failure to uphold her Sixth Amendment rights.
