Toby Keith / Charlie Daniels songs

I thought there was another post on this but I couldn't find it.

I just heard the Toby Keith song today. What the fuss is is beyond me. I don't particurarly like the song (I don't like country) but that song would kick butt at a 4th of July celebration just because its angry and its about 9/11. Thats what this country needs, is to get angry again because we seem to have lost it.

Ditto for the Charlie Daniels song. Its a melodic disaster but its the theme that counts.

Yeah, but ABC is owned by Disney. Disney isn't in the business of being "angry" ... at least, not blatantly so.

yeah, but they have no problem sponsoring a "gay pride" day at a family park like Disneyland!!

i would seem to think they may have some of their priorties in the wrong order.

With all the problems facing our President (terrorism, the economy, Worldcom) I doubt our President gives a darn about some music video put out by a guy who was big ten years ago. Our country has MUCH bigger fish to fry.

I did not care for the Toby Keith song but heard a nice one today by Aaron Tippen named Stars and stripes i think.
