  • Don't you just love road ragers?

On Tuesday, I was traveling in the inner lane on a state route and started to slow down for stopped traffic. A semi truck in the outer lane decided to pull into my lane, no turn signal, nothing. I laid on my horn and started waving my arms but all he did was shrug his shoulders and continue to come over.

He was forcing me into oncoming traffic, so I sped up and got in front of him. The light turned green and it took a few minutes for him to catch up to me. We both went into a turn lane to get on the highway and he started to tailgate me.

The light turned green and I was still stopped (lots of traffic) and he kept tailgating me until finally... BOOM.

It was a very minor accident but now I am suffering whiplash.. a very sore back and neck. I ended up going to Urgent Care this morning and got prescriptions for some nice drugs.

Gah.. road ragers are so stupid and dangerous.. especially ones driving weapons in the form of semi's.

Yes, they are! I hope he got a bunch of tickets.

Nothing is as dangerous as a driver driving offensively, ESPECIALLY in a semi! I almost got knocked off the road in Pennsylvania last week when a semi decided to just get in my lane! And then he honked at ME!

Today, I almost witnessed a caravan get smacked by an MTA bus. I was in the left-hand turn lane on Warren Road west, waiting to turn south onto York. I was behind a green caravan. We had a green light, but no arrow. Well, the caravan didn't move ... UNTIL this MTA bus (headed east) crossed into the intersection. Then the caravan gunned it across the intersection, in front of the bus! The bus slammed on its brakes, slammed on its horn, and missed the van by like an inch! You could smell the burned rubber!

If they had hit, maybe I woulda finally met Metro174!

Ya, he was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.. Too bad he couldn't be cited for stupidity...

I didn't get in a ****ing match with anyone. I was merely driving in my lane of travel until I was nearly hit by a semi. It was either get around him or be hit. I don't particularly relish the idea of bing broadsided by a semi truck so I chose the former. It was he who then started tailgating me. I cannot really help that can I?
