  • Crap you see on infomercials...Do they really work?

Does anyone know of a website where people post comments or reviews are done on the stuff you see on informercials? I'd love to get one of those internal attennas, but I'm not going to spend $20.00 if it does not work.

How about that Emerson switchboard which allows you to receive short incoming phone calls even when you are signed on to the internet?

...and I'm sure that there are a lot of people who would like to know if that Extenze stuff really works too.

On a related topic, was there anyone who actually believed that those ab machines that used electrical impulses to shape your abs actually worked? Give me a break.

i'm an infomercial junkie...whaddya wanna know? lol

a girl at work bought an electronic ab thingy and got burns on her stomach from it. a guy at work bought the Extenz and said they didnt work.

you could do a Search for the name of the product, i have done that before. then you just have to weed thru all the sites that are actually offering the product for sale, obviously they have too much to gain to print a bad *review.*

Hey that reminds me Badger, I have seen those commercials about those pills that are supposed to enlarge breasts (I can't remember the name!!) I wanna say Blouffant or something like that....

I WANNA KNOW IF IT WORKS! I definitely don't want to spend money on that if it doesn't work because it costs quite a bit of money. But ya know, I think it would be cheaper than a boob job -- and I need a miracle! lol

I don't know about "extends", but a co-worker is taking "longitude". He's been on it for about 4 months now and he says he can tell a difference.

I don't want to inquire about it too much [Eek!]

Stacker II does work for losing weight. It's made with herbs that are natural appetite surpressers so in effect you will start eating less. But, the main way it and most others work is it contains diuretics so really the bulk of your weight loss comes at the expence of losing water. Have to be careful about that.

As for 'favorite' infomercials, the ones about ENZYTE are a HOOT! THAT advertising team/firm should win an Oscar.....

I bought some of that OxyClean from Home Depot and it really worked well. I used it to clean my carpets and my carpets look brand new nearly.

Oxyclean is great...it works pretty much like the commercials say. As for other stuff, like the boob enlarger, I saw a news report that said it didn't work. Also, if you have to do any home paining any time soon, the edgemaster 2000 sucks.

Actually, this and many other weight loss pills such as Xenedrine, Metabolite, and Hydroxycut are ECA (Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) stackers. They don't suppress your appetite, they speed up your heart rate, give you more energy, and raise your metabolism. It's true that Ephedrine and Caffeine are diuretics, and not drinking enough water while taking these pills can severely damage your kidneys.

I tried some of that Epil-Stop Plus hair remover. It burned like an S.O.B., and was not all that great. It's just easier to take an electric shaver and shave all of the unwanted hair off yourself.
