It's Friday!!!

My supervisor isn't here... My manager isn't here... I've not done a damn thing all morning 'cept one UDS.

Don't ya just love goof off days? Hee hee.

I had all intentions on calling in a "Slug Day" today. However, a burglary, a theft from a construction site, leads on stolen landscape equipment, a check fraud ring, pawned stolen property and an embezzlement ain't gonna fix themselves .

I have a goof off day too today.
My company bid on a new job yesterday (it's a heavy construction company building highways and bridges) and got it. That means everybody worked hard the last couple of weeks and most of the engineers and estimators are not in today. So what am I doing here ? My boss is gone too so I'll call it a weekend at around 2pm. Yippee !!!!!!

My boss is gone today too, w00t! I've got a lot of work to do but no motivation to actually do it so I'm posting on the forums.

I actually have alot of work to do as well, reporting to CPS workers to let them know how their referrals are, scheduling client conferences, making nice with Drug Court and Probation and Parole.

But I don't want to do any of it!!!!!

I want to go outside and play!!!!!!

It didn't start off as a goof off day but it's quickly turned into one. We were supposed to have a band playing this afternoon but it was an outside thing & they didn't want to take a chance on the rain so they cancelled it yesterday. Now the weather has turned out absolutely beautiful! We had an employee health fair this morning so getting poked & probed & signed up for this & that took up most of the morning. Since I've started typing this another officer has walked in & said he was just trying to kill 10 minutes until time to get off & a secretary stopped at the door & said she didn't want to work anymore today. Guess the feeling is spreading rapidly.

Workday turned into slug day for me, Had to mow around the station, so I made the best of it. And I am sure the helicopter pilot will get a kick out of the huge smiley face that is weed whacked in to the back field.
Rule #1 never leave a soldier unsupervised, weard things happen!

I find that I have those "goofy" times when I have so much work to do that I don't want to do any of it. Unfortunatley it happens more at home when it comes time for chores!

I never "goof "around at work. Thats my "story" and I'm stickin with it!

I took yesterday off. Since I have every Friday "off" taking Thursday off just makes it better.

since it rained all day yesterday, I played around on this computer all day. Thats about it.

I was not lucky to have a 'slug day'or 'goofin day' all the bosses were in. But since I pulled a muscle last night working out I took it real easy,so basically it was a slug day

i have my goof off days at home. at work there is no one to do my work but me

when its time to pull the mail, every package better be done. everything that came in that day, goes out that day! (blah blah blah ) LOL
