Brainy honor roll boy ! Yep, I admit it.

The school jocks always got themselves into trouble and changed their girlfriends more often than their t-shirts. Didn't like that.

I was always attracted to the "bad guy/tough guy" image. Jocks were stuck on themselves and the brainy guys were always geeks. I wanted someone who could keep up with my spirit.

As it turned out, I married a very sweet man who is far from being tough. He wouldn't hurt a fly. We've been together for 16 years.

Not the geeks per se, but the pale quiet types. I've seen a sticker that says "Chicks dig pale, skinny guys." That was true for me, at least in high school. Looks, although still noticed, aren't as big of a deal to me. The geeks were all my friends though- I think I was considered the "outsider" and my friends were an eclectic bunch. Band nerds, geeks, skaters, yeah, even the druggies and flunkies. Actually, probably more of the druggies and flunkies for some reason, although my grades were really good.

I hated the jocks in high school. Too full of themselves and too often brain dead to boot.

Actually.. in high school I was in a Explorer group and rode with this one particular officer. I had such a crush on him! Too bad he was 20 years my senior and happily married. Oh and the whole not allowed to date explorers thing got in the way of our hapy future too

I still think about him though.. wonder what he's doing. He left the department and I don't know what became of him. Hmm.. maybe he's single now!

Brains! The school jocks were always hitting on girls and I would hear them talking of the notches in their belts. I vowed not to be one of them and I wasn't. I was always very quiet and studious. I don't think they noticed me anyway. The brainy guys always had the best personalities and made me laugh.

Woah, their personality changed when ya got them alone! [Wink]

And for the record, I was a Tom Boy and still am.

I liked the jocks in high school. The brainy geeky guys were too girly for me. I need to be with a guy that I would feel safe walking down a dark alley with, ya know?

I actually was not even looking for any particular guy in highschool. I was hell bent on getting into a great law school. I've wanted to be a lawyer since i was 9. But there was this one kid in my english class (Tom) who was really cute and i had a crush on him i guess. He wasn't brainy or a jock. And of course he didn't even know i existed. Now that i am an adult, i prefer the average man. As long as he is a decent human being then he can be trained.

HEHE I wasn't good enough for the jocks, didn't like the brainies,
I guess I was always drawn to the BAD BOYS, the troubled ones.

Today I'm attracted to the big gentle guy, a little shy with a big nervous laugh and
                            the sweet smile.

                            Someday............ [Wink]
