  • Good diets?

Atkins, cabbage soup, blood group...does anyone have any good diets that can kick start a balanced healthy daily diet?

Been putting on the pounds recently, and Ive never had to really diet before, so if anyone has advice.....I'd love to hear it!

Go to your docter and have a complete physical. Have him do a thyroid test and a fasting glucose test. Atkins is a good diet to do if you have metabolic disorders.

For obvious reason THIS won't work in every case, BUTT....

There are 3 teachers in my school that have recently become pregnant and all 3 have LOST weight since becoming pregnant.

And NO...I had NOTHING to do with their current conditions, thank you.

                ZalmanEmmes,

Have you heard of the "Meat, Leaves, and Berries" diet?

                Have a look: http://danjohn.org/diet.html

                Here's Dan John's coaching page: http://danjohn.org/coach

                Real good tips there.

Go to the dentist and get my mouth wired shut? I tell ya...I am about to do that! I think I might try atkins for a while, but not such high fat. I'll eat the lower fat proteins and lots of salad.

I lost about 60 lbs 2 times after having each baby and it all came back and that was from low fat diets. I just don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                      Turkey sandwiches and diet coke.

and watch calories. It worked for me. If you all knew how much I lost in the past year.. you'd faint.

The trick is to maintain a healthy caloric intake. and exercise!!!!!!!!
