  • MY PSA FOR THE WEEK

Ok folks, I know most of you are cops so i know you will knkow where i am coming from.

On Thursday morning I was hit by a car (while standing outside of mine)and I am pretty sure the driver wasn't paying attention b/c she said she never saw me.

Anyway not to bore you with deatalis and because I am still drugged up a bit and SORE as hell......

I have no broken bones (Thank God) but I have a few contusions and abrasions...... I AM LUCKY AS HELL TO BE ABLE TO TYPE THIS. I am also still in shock that this eve happenede

    More later when ifeel better.

So anyway, here is my publis service annoncement for the week......

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. A CAR IS ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS THINGS YOU CAN OPERATE. YOU CAN KILL SOMEONE (OR YOURSELF) IF YOU ARE NEGLIGENT WITH ONE......

Glad you weren't hurt worse. A motor vehicle accident from someone not paying attention? How rare is that? It's a good message. Hope you tell a lot of people.

Rachel, the other good thing to come out of this was that there were lots of hunky firefighters giving me assistance. I forgot about the pain temporarily. How ironic that we were jsut talking about htat. I didn't mean for it to come true..... [Eek!]

I am still taking the Vicodin for pain though not as much as I was yesterday. I tell you it feels as if someone took me out back and beat me with a baseball bat. I have to say my angels were working overtime and I am glad for that.....

I hope everyone else's week was much better than mine but I it could have always been much worse.

        Take care all

          GRACE, glad you are OK.

That's a terrible thing to have happen

I hope everyone pays closer attention to their surroundings....
