  • Happy Holidays to All!

Just in case I forget, a happy July 4th to the USA types, and for the other Canadians posting here, a VERY happy Canada Day today to one and all!

If anybody on this site lives in North Dakota or Montana and is so bored that they have nothing else better to do, drive up to Oungre, Saskatchewan (if you can find Fortuna, ND on a map, its about 20 minutes North of that!) for noon today and you can see me in my Red Serge at the opening of Oungre's ball tournament.

And yes, I do suggest you wear protective eyewear, just in case my tunic "shrunk" again and the buttons let go!

Hi Pete. Did you march today!
Our Detachment had six members in Red Serge and three auxiliaries in their dress uniform.
        It was a great day.

My "marching" consisted of moving about 40 feet along with 2 Legion members with flags and standing in front of a stage for 30 minutes. However, had some nice compliments not only from the hundreds of locals, but also some people from Oregon and North Dakota that were there.
Best of all, the tunic AND boots fit okay!
