Are not the little kids in major metros slingin crack. And it isn't the dance kids at raves selling ecstacy or methamphetamines or whatever those kids are putting intot heir bodies these days.
I think or biggest drug dealers are the tobacco giants and the beer industry. I smoke cigarettes, unfortunately, and have been know to enjoy a cold beer, like most here.
But, do we have a double standard when it comes to harmful mind altering substances in the US? I am all for not allowing minors drink, smoke or snort cocaine, but what about our adults?
Should a drug more dangerous than marijuana be allowed to be sold in grocery stores?
I am sure most of you know what substances most perps are under the influence of when they commmit crimes....
Now, I am not naive and I do not think drugs should be made legal. However, in order to take the burden off our criminal and penal systems, I do think that drugs should be decriminalized somehow.
Let's take the drugs money out of the scumbag drug dealers pockets and put it to use in rehabilitating some of these addicts. Put some hope in their lives and communities....
Am I alone on this one?
