  • Manchurian Candidate Remake

    Complete Story

    quote:
HOLLYWOOD, California (Reuters) -- Denzel Washington will reprise Frank Sinatra's role in an update of the 1962 political thriller "The Manchurian Candidate," Variety reports.
I think Denzel Washington is a very good choice for this.. Looking forward to this movie.

Why do they have to remake everything?

It's called making the good old dollar bill. [Wink]

It does all come down to the almighty dollar. Some movies are better left original such as my personal favorite, Somewhere in Time, and that horrid remake of The Shining for TV but some movies are interesting remade, especially if the former was in B&W. I'd love to see a remake of Citizen Kane for example..
