  • Ak Pipeline suspect arraigned.

    Daniel Lewis, the suspect in the shooting of the Alaska Trans pipeline was arraigned Tuesday, oct 16.In Fairbanks Superior Court. He plead innocent to the felony charges of:
    1st degree criminal mischief, 3rd degree assault, and felony drunken driving. He also faces misdemeanor charges of oil pollution and 4th degree misconduct involving weapons. He is scheduled for trial in late December. Federal charges are still pending.

    Hope they put it to him real good so that's the last pipeline he ever shoots. Concerning the federal charges hopefully that will keep him out of trouble for quite some time.

      Daniel Lewis was indicted in U.S. District court in Anchorage, one one county of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He faces up to 10 yrs inprisonment and up to $ 250,000 fine. Lewis may also still be charged with Environmental crime pending further investigation and may have to pay restitution to the State and Oil Companies for the cost of the clean up, labor, and other related costs.

        Glad you guys have him in your court system.

        Here he would most likely get time served, 6 months probation, and 250 hours community service a 5 year firearms prohabition,oh yeah, and a dirty look from the judge.
