Anyone else get a nauseating flashback

News flipped over to an oil refinery fire in NYC, no furthur info. Anyone else get a nauseating flashback when they saw this?

its on EVERY channel here in NYC. as far as i can tell (based of what they are reporting) its just a gasoline fire that started with some gas barrels exploding. i dont see what the big deal is why is it on every channel?

Don't feel bad 10-98, the Rhode Island nite club tragedy has been on every channel all morning. Luckily I have ONE Vermont channel to watch.

Don't get me wrong, this was a very sad thing to happen. My heart goes out to everyone involved. BUT....I thought that's what the cable networks are for?!

I was gonna say, dont most people have cable and 50-100 channels?? it's hard to believe these stories are on all those channels! (granted, there are some places that cant get cable, but lots of them have satellites)

I like having the news channels. I work thru the time when regular news is on in the PM, and i'm sleeping thru it in the AM. i was able to wake up and see all the top news stories. And now i can change to one of my other 50-some channels
