Maybe we should implement the "Challenge-Instant Replay" ... like in the NFL.

In my opinion, there is only ONE first place. Giving 2 Gold medals is a joke. Boot the Russkies to 2nd place and send them home with a silver.

I think they should just put the instant replay back without the challenge. I also wonder why it seems only the people at home can see all the screw ups and the people at the event are getting paid to see it and can't see worth a damn.

Actually, that's not uncommon. Consider that you have a number of skaters, trying to do as much warming up as they can in a few minutes. They're practicing routines that often take up the entire area........often skating backwards (which is what happened in this case......both were skating backwards and he turned around at the last second to impact with her). It happened just a few weeks ago at the Trials for the womens team.

Oh they can see, but unfortunately, they see what they want to see. Skating like boxing will always be surrounded by some type of controversy. At least in boxing theres a chance of a knockout. Unless the trailer tramp T.Harding is involved.

Now I'm getting to understand the mentality of wrestling fans. They at least know the fix is in.

The gold should go to the team that earned it by performing best. The Russians didn't "earn" it. It was just given to them and should be taken back.

I understand the need to win the gold. But, I wouldn't want that which was not earned. TO hold a golf Olympic medal over my head knowing I earned it only because of politics would be a slap in the face to me and America. The Canadians rightfully scored high enough to win it. The Russians got gold medals only because of the bullying of one judge toward another. I think, if possible, I would have reoported it before I was forced to score.
