Never say you seen it all because in the next few minutes you'll realize you was wrong.

    Not a criminal, but stupid...

That same day, a 19 year old guy nearly drowned in a swimming pool. They Life-Flighted him and he lived. It was discovered that the guy was having a contest with a buddy to see who could stay underwater the longest while holding their breath. Are people really that stupid?? The friend said that he was surprised at how long the victim was staying under..."surely he knows that he won, why doesn't he come up now???"

    Speaking of stupid....

Today, a guy walks into one of our banks and hands the teller a note that says, "This is a robbery. Give me 5 $20 bills. Sorry." He gets the cash and tells the teller that he is unarmed and will be waiting outside for the police. We swooped in and took him into custody without incident....he was waiting. I just shook my head in disbelief as he confessed and said that he did it because he was homeless and hungry. Now my tax dollars are feeding him in some shelter tonight.

Stupid people are good for a laugh sometimes. Didhe do it because he was stupid or did the marijuana make him do it? I didn't know it was that powerful. Never tried it myself so I can't speak from experience.

CARLISLE, Pa. -- A man was arrested after a telephone conversation with police where he allegedly said he had good marijuana and gave out his address.

Middlesex Township authorities said Randy Smeltz, 40, reported a stolen radio on Oct. 2 and asked police to call him back.

An officer who returned the call said someone picked up the phone but did not answer. The officer said he stayed on the line, heard people discussing illegal drugs and took notes from the conversation until Smeltz picked up the phone.

Smeltz and an officer then began speaking, and Smeltz allegedly said he was smoking some good marijuana. He also gave his address at the Country Manor Mobile Home Park, police said.

Officers arrived at the home, where they confiscated marijuana. They also removed marijuana plants that were growing in flower beds.

Smeltz was arrested on charges of possessing and growing marijuana. He was being held in Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bond.
