Yeah, I'm not going anywhere for awhile. Got just shy of 2 feet of snow and a nice coating of ice sandwiching it. Blah!

Same here, KCadet. the snow wasnt too hard to get rid of while it was coming down light and airy... all the sleet on top has caused a real mess. my truck is snowed in and i dont know when i'll get out. my main goal today was to clear a path for the dog so she didnt sink in above her head anymore!

The winds made unbelievable drifts. i dont think i ever saw them this high in at least 7 years.

Well, I thought we were going to escape the snow...apparently not. Heck, 16-18 inches is nothing! My Mom was like "oh my gawd, we're getting 20 inches of snow!!!!" It's about time she experiences what our snowstorms are like. Massachusetts is covering the big storm as much as humanly possible and I find it odd since they live in New England. Get over it people....haven't you seen snow befoah? LOL

Today on NECN (new england cable news) they actually had a call in show where the anchor and meteorologist were discussing how much snow people had on the ground in their area and how hard it was snowing! What a waste of air and air "space". Ummmm, when it's done snowing then we'll know how much it snowed...

In the winter, there's this stuff called snow that nobody here in New England (except Vermont and Maine and NH) seems to be familiar with.

Does anyone else in New England find this interesting? Also, MA has about a ZILLION plows. I've seen them plow before....I've seen them plow 1 inch of snow up and down the interstate until sparks fly out. Up here we're lucky to have our street plowed ONCE until the early morning. I hope the roads are plowed at all by 6am when I have to leave for work. Let's switch and see how much they freak out. he he

We have about 2 feet of snow on the ground already and it's still snowin'. They're estimating 2 1/2 feet by the time it ends.

Now that would be a sight! she's already a sight too, believe me. she takes two leaps thru the snow, and looks back until i cheer her on. she has a halfway decent path now, it's short but at least she doesnt disappear. but the winds are gusting and we're supposed to get 2 more inches tonite...who knows what tomorrow will bring. have fun plowing!

Yeah my car is still buried. i just called a friend in hopes of getting my driveway plowed.

Another friend called and said "why did you wait til today to dig out?" after telling me that her husband shoveled the dog path, the steps, and the driveway. she didnt do any of it!

Out here in the country we dont have the boys that walk around asking to shovel... the driveways are too damn long lol.

Snow?? At least you all don't have the ICE that we have here.

30% of the city of Lexington has been without power since Sunday. In some surrounding counties the number is 60-90%. Trees and power lines are blocking roads everywhere. And worst of all...a damn tree fell on my car and did $1064 worth of damage!

SHHHHHHHHH! I'm barricaded in the living room.
Things deteriorated quickly here, this morning, when the Dish stopped working, causing the 4 year old to begin rioting. As soon as he reaized that SpongeBob would not be coming to play, things got ugly. I took cover in a closet when the matchbox car assaults began. I thought of taking control of the situation through the dispersion of OC, but the doors are still drifted shut.
I negotiated a brief cease-fire when I broke out the birthday cake, but I forgot to factor in the sugar effect and all peace was broken.

After withstanding several attacks, I remembered that my beloved PENS were on tonight. Desperate times call for desperate measures!
I escaped through a second floor window and climbed up to clear the Dish.

So....SHHHHHHHHHH...I'm in here with the volume down low and I deployed a distraction.....
PLAY-DOH!
