  • prophetic ??..Patriots WIN

Think of the irony of the Superbowl win. An New England area team named the Patriots is the 2002 World Champs. IS this PROPHETIC or not.

Congrats to the Patriots...even though I bet on the other team.

Looks like a lot of people lost money on this one like me. How fitting a name for the team however.

I called the Pats 21-17, I was close, but not close enough.
Congrats to the Patriots, they played a hell of a game!

And you guys don't think it was set up for the Patriots to win? I think Football is becoming like boxing and the big guys already know who will win.

I too have watched my last football game. Its become a joke. I'll stick to Peewee football. They play for the challenge and the fun, not to see how many millions they can squeeze from unsuspecting people believing their team actually got to the superbowl on thier own without the help of blind refs.

Sorry for the rant but this year Patriots, Sept 11,The whole freedom theme. Little to convienant for me.

ftrphxcop, I think you got it all wrong here...

3 or 4 guys on the Patriots took a paycut to stayed with the team this year. The Pat's have the lowest payroll of any team in the NFL...

These are the only guys in the history of the Superbowl who requested to be announced as a TEAM, not individuals...

They won by teamwork, hard hitting and some genious defensive calls by Bellicheck.

This was a Superbowl that kids can watch and parents can point to and say - "see, that is what I have been saying all along - TEAM sports. You go out there and play your best, you work as a team and it will do you good... see!"

Sorry, but I don't buy that this was rigged, and I think it is a pinacle display of what sport is truly about.

GO PATS! I said they were out of it at the begining of the season, and doubted all the way to about week 16. But I hung in there and rooted for them since!

When they took the field as a team, I knew I was rooting for the best damn team in the world, and they proved it. I will never doubt them again... even when they start loosing for decade uppon decade, if they go back to that...

            GO PATS!

Maybe I am reading into this, but to believe that this SuperBowl was fixed , you must have watched a different game than I did and also millions of others around the WORLD. The better coached team, WON, period.

              Patriots SuperBowl Champions!!!

ftrpxcop (or is it Oliver Stone? )

You gotta be kidding me- it was rigged?! Are you high on the smell of moth balls from all the retirees out your way?

Did the refs kick Curt Warner in the groin to cause him to throw that pick to Ty Law? What about the Prohel fumble and recovery, did the refs cause that too? What about when Faulk stepped out of bounds on that kick off- the refs again? If it was fixed why didn't the refs ignore the McGinest holding penalty that nullified the fumble recovery/TD?

I could go on but I think I've made my point.

The Patriots had more heart and it showed out there on the field.

NE PATRIOTS- SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!! WOOOOO!!
