  • I hope this pays off!

Days and days of showing our house, making sure it stays clean. The most aggrivating part is trying to get rid of 2 dogs each time it's shown. Today people are going to be here basically all day so I had to board the dogs. We might as well go off all day (hubby and I both have the day off) and enjoy ourselves without having to keep the dogs in the car with us. (besides, it's 85 today and I would never leave a dog in a car in hot weather).

We got one offer last night, but it was verbal and it was for WAY too little.

Have any of you had the lovely experience of trying to sell a house before? Isn't it FUN?!?!?!

Home improvement type shows are all the rage here, cos they are cheap to make I guess but they do have an excellent one where this Estate Agent( Realtor) comes in to homes which havent sold for ages and gives a make over idea and then sells it.
Last night this house wouldnt sell for a year and the agent says its not worth within

Just sold my place in VT last month. Big fun, but glad its behind us now. Good luck selling your place - if the right buyers came along for my antique, 6-bedroom behemoth, they will for you too.

If all goes well, we'll be closing on a house down here next week.

This is so stressful and I have such a headache. We told the realtor to counter offer him an additional 2500 and meet us halfway to the 5000 needed to make full asking price. The man hasn't returned any phonecalls yet to his realtor and I'm dying here because we just found the perfect home for us last night. All we have to do is hear from him and we can put in an offer for this house. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for a call and it hasn't come yet. I don't want this house we saw to get away. This sux.

Perhaps we should have just accepted his offer, but we need to put down some kind of money on a new house. We can't have two VA loans going at the same time. [Frown]

Still no answer and his realtor can't even reach him. I don't know what the heck is going on. If I made an offer on a house, I'd be curious and wondering if the person accepted it! Apparently he doesn't even know yet about the counter offer because he's nowhere to be found. He put a good amt of money down too.

In a few days, screw him. I won't accept any offer from him if I don't have a chance to make a solid offer on the house we were looking at. That house won't last long.

My patience is wearing very thin today.

He FINALLY answered! Our house will go under contract today @3pm. YEAH!!!!!!! I'm in a much better mood today. NO ONE can touch me!

What a freaking load lifted off. We are making an offer on that other house today. Wish us luck.

VTFUZZ....one of your PT officers also lives on the same street. And, another statie and 2 families from my kids' school. (crossing fingers)!
