    I have two words...

    Fawlty Towers!

John Cleese (pronounced "Cleeze") is one of the funniest men that has ever lived on this planet. I have laughed at some episodes until I wasn't breathing.

Here's a quick tour for any other fans (if you are NOT familiar with the show, don't even bother clicking on the link-you wont think the quotes are even remotely funny-if you are a fan-don't eat or drink anything while reading!)

Out of your list I would pick "Some Mothers Do Ave'em and "All Creatures Great and Small.

However, just to add a few of my favourites,

        Porridge.
        It ain't half hot mum.
        Between the Lines.
        The Bill (Early Series)
        Heart Beat (Early Series)
        Hamish McBeth

There have been so many over the years, but they are the ones that immediately come to mind.

I could however go back as far as "Z Cars" and "Dixon of Dock Green" [Wink]

Hey, Dave, check this out Looks interesting [Wink]

I tried linking to a search result, but it didn't want to work. Type "Fawlty Towers" in the search box.

"Are You Being Served" and "Fawltey Towers" are two of my favorites as well.

Damnit Dave, I tried the link you gave for Fawltey Towers and was told that my ISP was banned from accessing it. I was all set for some good old belly laughs.

I think my all time favorite was the one about the deaf uncle coming down with the shotgun when he heard them talking about "vermin." He thought they said something about a "German" and he was ready to kill! All this while the place was being inspected by the government.

My favorite was Dr. Who. I haven't seen it since I was a kid. I wish they'd put it on the Sc-Fi Channel.

The Brit detective show "Softly, Softly" was great.
