July Ist and July 4th Fireworks

Where are you heading this year for the fireworks? I am lucky living near a border city. We join with our neighbours and the Fireworks are spectacular!

Nowhere.. I'll be working. But depending on where I'm assigned I'll get to see either the downtown display or the mall display.
Then we also have the annual "POPS" fireworks display at the concert park on our campus. It's basically a display of fireworks to music. This year it's Skitch Henderson conducting.

There is a church down the road from us that has fireworks, and we can see them from the house.

We'll just go out in the front yard and watch the ones at the Indian casino.

I have a ballpark right around the corner from me, they might have fireworks there this year, that's added to the fireworks that I get to see every other week from the games they play.

We stay in on this particualar holiday. Its bad luck for us.

My husband broke all the bones surrounding his eye playing basketball with his cousin, I had a baby, my nephew caught the shed on fire with a firework, Did i mention i had a baby?

Yep, All kinds of things happen on this day.

On a side note, Since this is my sons birthday we were reall poor when we started out and so when we had his birthday parties we would always have them at night. One, its hot. two, We used to tell him that we paid people to light all those pretty fireworks for just his birthday. And he thought we were the best parents ever.

LOL We have a lot of areas that shoot them off and I can see the main ones from work via my cameras. The city shoots them off at the capital grounds that are four short blocks from my house sooo I have made. LOL
