  • Florida part II

The media is spinning the three morons caught for making terroristic threats as racial profiling, and one of the suspects was on tv saying they never said anything about 9-11 or 9-13. I thought they had admited that it was a joke?

Of course the wicked old white lady that reported it is defending herself now. I suppose the media and the left would be happier if they really were terrorists and killed a bunch of people.

Yeah I heard that. I don't know if it was uncalled for or not. Depending on what actually happened with the hospital, maybe it was the right thing to do. Then again, maybe not. One thing is for sure, I'd say those guys won't make any more jokes about 911, at least not publicly.

Of course they are publicly denying it now. No doubt their attorney told them to.

They admitted it on scene and I'll bet that admission is on tape.

Regardless of the varying news accounts, something transpired at that restaurant. Significant to the degree that this relatively anonymous, working woman subjected herself to the fallout (on her) that was inevitable from some corners of our community.

Retired LE, I'm sympathetic to the (perceived) over-reaction by the police response. The alternative would have been to under-react; not an acceptable alternative, IMO.

Taking this a step further, I'd have serious reservations as a hospital administrator with the good judgement -- or lack thereof -- of these young med students. From my vantage point as a clinical administrator, I would say their collective insight/foresight was suspect at best.
