Some people, no make that many people, only pretend to respect the police when they actually need the police. I personally show respect most always for them. The police have a dangerous job, and this country is filled with self serving people who could care less.

Of course, there was also a video camera there. No one ever acts normally when they know there's a camera around.

But I agree with you. Some people just deserve to be b!tch-slapped.

I didn't see the show. From what you described though, it sounds like good advice.
Especially, if it was the wife who stabbed the husband.

    Flat Disrespect At Police.

I was watching "Cops" last week (closest I can get to police work right now), and this woman was being questioned over the stabbing of her husband (he got one in his arm, and one in his mouth). Her mother was standing there telling her to "Dont tell them anything!" and things like this. All I could think about was a long piece of tape.

Why do she act like that? I mean, those very officers risk their lives everyday protecting her. She wouldnt be saying all that if she was mugged and needed their help.
