  • Now That NYC Situation Quieting Down Did The AP Really Have to Stir **** Again?

Sooooo, here's an article out today by the Associated Press.

It asserts that DeBlasio is a genius mayor who has come out on top of the whole DeBlasio vs. police debate.

Let me suggest for the record this is just more left-wing propaganda from a left wing media organization who is - AS USUAL - trying to bullsh*t people into believing something that's not true and trying to influence the political winds. I hope people don't let them get away with it. These are the same media organizations that claimed only a hundred or so cops turned their backs on the mayor in the streets. Even liberal CNN finally admitted it was thousands.

The Associated Press is a left-wing media organization. It always has been. While working in the nerve center of the Pentagon years ago, we monitored their tickers along with UPI and many other media sources to compare against all of our classified sources what was really happening on the ground around the world. In comparison to the facts on the ground, you could see the pattern of what their political bent was. It became clear AP many times had a liberal bent.

But you won't hear most journalists say that. You'll hear most journalists claim the AP is the "objective source" most of them go to as their raw data in preparation for a story. In other words, most journalists will admit to you they're just repackaging what the AP tells them. Journalists tell you it's because the AP is objective. And I'll tell you that's one of many resasons our 4th Estate is so broken and corrupt.

Your spidey senses should go up when some supposedly well regarded media source says a divisive, Socialist, moronic, inexperienced, far left mayor who enjoyed vacationing in Communist Cuba before it was allowed has come out on top against the police after showing to the world the consummate idiot he is.

One of the union leaders who simply asked for an apology is skewered in this article for example.

What's particularly sad is that with things quieting down on both sides, wouldn't it have been best for the AP to leave this topic alone? NOPE. The Communist mayor and his allies have decided they want to whip the issue up again by declaring victory on THEIR political side. I sure don't see anything in that article that talks about things being better for their citizens.

Their only genius is in the art of manipulation. I hope people don't let them get away with it now that they've thrown down their marker again. *****ing idiots.

Great post Emma, simply another load in the dump truck full of proof that the so called "media" are nothing but biased, ill informed, overpaid, ignoramus' . In their case, PHD simply means "Piled Higher and Deeper". The only use their sheepskins on their walls would have is wiping their butts in the event they ran out of toilet paper.

Di Blasio? He's living proof that while God may not make junk, there WERE days when quality control took a distinct dive. What a jerk!!

Basically he did what the cops were asking. Shut Up. This is just a lull in the action. It will heat up again.

        Roger that, PhilipCal.

I keep wanting to start a thread that focuses 100% on the media and why people should second guess every single member of it, whether they're on the left or right.

I don't think journalists who admit they have a bias are the danger. It's the one's pretending they don't have a bias that are very dangerous.

And I blame the Obama phenomenon on THEM -- the ones projecting themselves as objective. I blame the Administration less than I blame the media whose job it is to act as a watchdog on ALL administrations. And as we're finding out, most of the media went AWOL just for this Administration.

And speaking of sheepskins -- as someone who bought into THAT racket -- I'd like to see Americans start to put pressure on THAT corrupt institution too (academia).

People think Obama's disastrous foreign policy and economic policy (wait till the artificial stock market finally crashes) are connected more to his Muslim upbringing.

I wish folks made the connection that all he is spouting comes straight from the Ivy League Schools he and Michelle attended.

ETA: I should say MOST he is spouting. In the economic realm it's 100% from what's called Keynesian economics philosophy which is straight from the Ivy Leagues.

So is most of his foreign policy. If you've ever sat in classes with the kind of people he surrounds himself with, they can't grasp how to deal with the school yard bully for the life of them. It's appeasement all the way. Standing up to the bully is considered using "force."

Edit to the Edit: Shoot, I had accidentally pasted this into the original article....I wondered where my edit went to, LOL. The edit below was originally meant to go where the bolded is above:

But much of his foreign policy is too. I've sat through classes and seminars with those idiots. Their liberal minds can't fathom the school yard bully is best handled by standing up to the bully. If you sit in a setting where you see how their minds work, they buy into psycho babble of appeasement, I mean turning the other cheek.

Emma, Ya nailed it. Couldn't have said it better myself. Showing my age perhaps, but I can recall dealing with a would be bully or two. Nothing beats a plain, good ole fashioned *** kicking. Hell, I didn't even have to go the Principal's Office. I wouldn't have made it past damned kindergarten in today's panzy assed, Hillary's Village schools.

Also for the record, lest anyone think I'm a union plant, I can be seen slamming unions in the private sector throughout the past four years as a member here. And it's only been two years since I've acknowledged the need for police unions -- after realizing how fickle the public is AS WELL AS THEIR own political managers, and in some cases, even their own commanders, when it comes to looking out for cops.

And coming from the perspective of what's best for the citizenry, I don't like work stoppages either. But this De Blasio scenario doesn't get any more clear as an example of just what damage a grossly incompetent mayor can do.

Here's much better story from the NY Post who has been surprisingly pro police during this whole thing. It mentions how even Bratton is having a hard time supporting all of De Blasio's actions.

Good to hear, but then we all know Bratton has some choices here too. Crap, he could make a dump truck full of money in the private sector. Then, he wouldn't have to back his cops. Not trying to one up you, just saying.
