He doesnt understand that the people on that grand group of agencys were hand picked basically by Holder and Obama to do what the president wanted to do prior to being elected. This is why he started it on day 2 of his presidency with basically nothing but a campaign issue to base it on. Let all the poor Muslims go free from Gitmo because they were all innocent and couldnt have been terrorist, yet strangely they keep showing up on the battlefields.

People with their heads in the sand can never see the truth till it effects them.

You're math is off. You need two more. I'm not counting your other two made up oversight and tribunal as your other two....Remember, in Lord of the Rings though, doesn't matter how many rings, it only takes one ring to rule them all.

Since you've made an analogy to prisons, let's take it further. In this country, we don't incarcerate people for things they might do in the future, and we don't incarcerate everyone for life for their first offense unless it is required.
For normal civillians, it's pretty wild - it's called Pretrial. Yeah, some are incarcerated (in jail - in pretrial), some have house arrest, some have electronic monitoring. ARe they all guilty before sentencing? They also all have pre-conditions.

The individuals in question had been there for 13 years, had been assessed as not being a threat, and multiple agencies had reviewed their information and found that there wasn't really any evidence of terrorist or illegal activity.
how many agencies again accessed this information? 6?

We are not going to keep people imprisoned indefinitely when there's no significant evidence of a crime, and when the charges don't support life sentences.
There are people in prison with charges that they did not commit. They are there for over 30 years. Once released, do you think they have that propensity to commit any major offense because of their unfortunate stay in prison or incarceration? I mean, they truly were innocent....what is the statistics of the re-offense of those that have been cleared from a "wrongfully sentenced" charge?

As for your more general comments, no, prison doesn't force anyone to do things, but prison has knock on effects, especially unnecessary solitary, among other things. There's plenty of evidence that early incarceration of youths is a net loss in terms of crime prevention. Being "tough on crime" always sounds good in politics and to the macho man image, but that often ignores the next victims down the line.
not being tough on crime is your answer? Seriously dude.....my career is often educating many, even a lot in my field - we are not all about "hug a thugs" but we are not always sending someone back to incarceration for one dirty U/A either. It always starts with the individual and than, properly assessing that individual's risks and needs and what they do with their "choices" will determine their outcome. Trust me, it's like minority report, but without the weird naked precogs and Tom Cruise.

As for myself, I've explained who I am. I can't help it if people think irrationally that it's impossible because I am not an irrational conservative. There isn't a political litmus test to be police.
Seriously, have you met Monty yet?

Junior, heres the deal,If we were holding 1 damned terrorist out of 500 and released him from custody based on the President,Holder , this group of hand picked people or PETA .Its doesnt matter.

WE RELEASED A TERRORIST WHOS BACK FIGHTNG US.WHATS SO DAMNED HARD TO FIGURE OUT ,IT DOESNT MATTER IF ITS 1 OR 100.

but to help you out alittle,From CNN so its going to be low anyway. But from June 2014.

According to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which regularly releases an unclassified summary report about former detainees, as of January this year, 104 of the 614 detainees (17%) released from the prison have engaged in "terrorist activities," while another 74 (12%) are suspected of doing so. It is impossible to assess the validity of the U.S. government's claim, referenced by McCain, that nearly 30% of the released detainees are confirmed or suspected of engaging in terrorist activity because the government has not publicly released the names of any of these detainees for the past five years.

Not that I alluded to it multiple times with obvious things such as "Appa," "NIC" or you saw that in my profile - but I don't think it was as mysterious as one may think.

          now, answer my question.

So you ask a question asking how many, I show you where CNN released a government report showing basically 30% are returning to the battlefield and even then its believed to be low and now you change your silly *** ideas.

This has nothing to do with the laws of England, and no 0 guilty should ever escape.

Hard to quote the bible or use it for reference when the terrorist are beheading people like you using religion as their reason why dont you think.

Yo,genius. You never addressed my first and very serious point, johnny boy.

You do realize Obama not only makes personality drone strikes but signature drone strikes, right?

Do you have a clue what the difference is? Since I'm sure you don't, here....let me educate you.

A personality strike means he knows exactly who he's hitting. A signature strike means the identity of the target's not known. And in both cases there are collateral deaths. Those collateral deaths in a signature strike in particular may not be guilty of anything. Yeah, Mr. Constitutional Law thinks that's the proper way to wage war.

Now here's my question. DO YOU REALLY *****ING THINK THESE DRONE STRIKES DON'T SERVE AS A RECRUITMENT TOOL??????

I'll wait another 7 hours for your answer.

The Guantanamo Review Task Force was created by Executive Order 13492 issued by President of the United States Barack Obama on January 22, 2009, his second full day in office. United States Attorney General Eric Holder announced Matthew G. Olsen as Executive Director of the task force on February 20, 2009. The task force was charged with determining which Guantánamo detainees can be transferred (released), which can be prosecuted for crimes they may have committed, and, if neither of those is possible, recommending other lawful means for disposition of the detainees.[1]

The task force was an inter-agency task force, with the U.S. Department of Justice coordinating the efforts of officials from the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of State, and the Department of Homeland Security.

You could pour all the intelligence and common sense of that group combined into a damned thimble .As i said before. It ran how the president wants it ran.Read the first line. Its his group and Holder picked the people on it despite many in congress not wanting Olsen anywhere near it.
This will go WAY over his head. It requires an iota of common sense.

It doesn't matter Emmy, I have come to the conclusion that we can call, write, E mail all we want, it's not going to matter. The people elected to Washington have finally figured it out. They can do what they want and we can do squat! The people voted in a majority republican house and we get nothing promised. We can't even get rid of boner. The president does what he wants and the people I voted for do nothing.

They're only related because they tangentially touch upon the same subject.

Where do I see liberals jumping up and down about drones serving as a recruitment tool? You and your buddies are not. That's because you're intellectually bankrupt. You wreak of hypocrisy. As usual.

                              And that's just for starters.

I guess GITMO was the recruitment tool when they hit the USS Cole? When they hit the Towers the first time? When they hit the Towers on 9/11? Do you have the first clue how many things jihadists did before GITMO was even opened?

Since none of you are marching in the streets about drones - which is the greatest recruitment tool of all - STFU about recruitment.
