  • "Man rams Farmington [ME] drugstore with snowplow in break-in attempt"

La Wife likes to read local news stories like this to me when she finds them on the Interwebz. She usually starts off by saying something like "More proof that you don't have to be real smart to be a cop, as long as you're smarter than the criminals."
FARMINGTON — A Wilton man is facing charges for allegedly using a snow plow to try to break into a Farmington pharmacy.

Police say Kenneth Nurse repeatedly used a snow plow attached to a pickup truck to ram the rear emergency door of Mt. Blue Drug on Friday night.
My first question was whether it said anything about alcohol being involved, and sure enough
[T]he 62-year-old Nurse was arrested on charges of aggravated criminal mischief, operating under the influence and attempted burglary.

I don't know if the witnesses got his plate number, or if he left tracks in the snow right to where he was stopped, but apparently there were tire tracks left behind.
Alcohol is a drug, and drugs're bad, m'kay.

Some criminals just use the tools at hand to effect the theft.
Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

My new word for the day is FOCUS, when someone irritates you tell them to FOCUS
