Maybe if more of these angry protest leaders were put into a situation like the one in the video they would be singing a different tune...

My browser can't run the flash for that but here's some Sharpton news:

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-governm...aked-to-press/

The Reverend Al Sharpton lashed out at New York cops on Monday after they revealed to the New York Daily News that they found his Viagra prescription in the apartment of a lawyer friend recently cleared of rape charges. Sharpton claimed that he is “unembarrassable.”
According to the NYDN, when asked about the find, “a shocked Sharpton” initially feigned ignorance about the RX note for the sex pills.
“I don’t know anything about that, no, I don’t know anything about that,” Sharpton said, “after a speechless second.”
He roared back a moment later, accusing the source who leaked the detail of trying to embarrass him with a smear campaign and saying he would demand an investigation.
“I am not saying what I do or don’t do, I’m not going to invade my privacy for some cop,” said Sharpton. “I have no knowledge of what was in (Rubenstein’s) apartment. But it’s not uncommon for men of all ages to use certain things.
“If the motive of the cop was to embarrass me, at 60 years old, I am unembarrassable,” fumed Sharpton, whose longstanding animosity with the NYPD has reached a fever pitch because of his vocal opposition to stop-and-frisk and close relationship to Mayor de Blasio. The tensions got even worse recently with the execution of two cops who were shot while on duty.
The prescription was just the latest in a string of tawdry finds cops made as they searched Rubenstein’s apartment after a top official with Sharpton’s National Action Network accused him of drugging and raping her last year.
On Monday, however, prosecutors concluded there was no case.
“Given the available evidence, the degree of the complainant’s recollection of what occurred at the suspect’s apartment, and the results of toxicological testing, neither the provable facts nor the applicable law support a prosecution in this matter,” Manhattan District Attorney spokeswoman Joan Vollero said in a statement.
An investigation into #ViagraGate – the police conspiracy to embarrass the unembarrassable Al Sharpton – has not been yet been announced.

Hmmm for being "unembarrassable" he seems pretty embarrassed.

As for the video I posted, a protest leader in Phoenix was invited to come down to the local PD's scenario training. In 1 scenario he was shot dead. In another scenario he shot an unarmed man who charged him. He admitted that it was eye opening and it changed his views. I am not LEO (hopeful to be) but I understand and respect the split second decision making they need to make, others unfortunately don't see it. I think more and more of these protest leaders should be put through scenarios like this.

Hopefully he goes back to his "flock" and teaches them about reality.

But I won't hold my breath.

In a staged UOF situation where someone was shooting at him, Sharpton would probably end up with paint dots and/or welts all over himself while he tried to blah-blah-blah the assailant into dropping the gun. Or he'd fall on the ground, flood his undies, and flop like a hooked fish. I think I'd pay $5 to watch a video of either.event.

We had similar scenarios when I went through UoF training. Nearly everyone screwed up at some point. It was a teaching tool, and it proved a good point, these situations can happen in split seconds, and there literally is very little time to think before you get killed.

It would be great if they had a scenario with a suspect who is acting all confrontational, then starts disobeying commands and reaches in their pocket angrily, only to retrieve a cell phone and point it in a threatening manner like a gun.
Natural selection leaves the survivors stronger and better! Humans have escaped this winnowing for far too long!

they should go through this but i dont think it will matter if they did, as these idiots have FACTS about recent cases that showed officers to be justified but they just go with the racial flow and think we're murders. its very sad

The second part of your scenario would be the operative one. That would be fun to watch.

This is the only scenario that Fat Al should be introduced to:

but it will never happen while co-conspirators Obama and terrorist lawyer Holder pervert the CJ system..

My guess is he'd 100% shoot, and then say that it's different that HE made the decision, cause he's black, and that LEOs should make different decisions in the same scenarios.

FOX 10 asked him why he shot the suspect. "Hey, he rushed me... I shot because he was in that zone, I didn't see him armed, he came clearly to do some harm to my person," said Maupin. "It's hard to make that call; it shakes you up."
So did he just cop to shooting an unarmed suspect? And is that not the core tenet of the protests, that it's not necessary to shoot unarmed suspects? If that is not the definition of irony, then I must not speak American.
